Today our letter of appeal will be sent off to the courts and we should be advised of a new court date for our appeal by the end of June. Hopefully we get the new court date by July or August, but we have absolutely no idea when it can be.
A lot of you keep sending us emails or calling us and asking us how we are. I have to say Life In Taraz is really not difficult, boring but not difficult however, emotionally it gets really hard when all you hear and see is negativity. I am really glad that Fil and I are on this difficult journey TOGETHER!!!! One day we can tell Dylan that we sacrificed a lot for him and we did it together. Both of us are here which means that we are not working, we still have bills to pay back home and we still have bills to pay here but it’s worth everything when we get to see Dylan everyday. Fil and I have 1 mission and 1 mission only………..BRING DYLAN HOME!!!!!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JEREMY & BECKY!!!!
We would like to wish our new Amazing American friends Becky and Jeremy a happy wedding anniversary. We wish you lot’s of love, happiness, health and to bring Aldanish Noah home very soon!!! xoxoxo

Hey guys! Glad you read you are doing well. I love the pictures of your picnic adventure. Also happy to read that your appeal is in. We are praying that it won't take long for you to hear some good news and that we ALL can get our babies home...SOON! hugs to you. -wendy
ReplyDeleteHi Fil and Mary - I visited your blog for the first time today. It's very distressing to hear all that you've gone through. My husband and I were assigned to the region of Taraz last week. Do you have any recommnedations for us that we can work on now to prevent any issues? We have a few updated documents that our Agency is telling us we'll only have to bring along with us and not resend through the Embassy. Do you suggest that we resend documents to be approved?
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the documenting you've done. Even though your experience has been trying and makes me nervous for our trips, I'm glad to be prepared upfront.
We're praying for you!
Amber
Hi Fil and Mary.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe this is happening to two people who do not deserve this. You have sacrificed everything for Dylan, and if they can’t see this, well…then there is no doubt that something is CORRUPT over there. You guys are the definition of perseverance and dedication.
If there is anything Jasmine or I could do, be it write a letter of reference, contact government bureaus, or simply get media/PR attention to underscore the injustice that is taking place, please let us know, and we will be only too happy to help.
May God bless.
Johnny and Jasmine.
Shane and Wendy, Thank you for your messages. I hope so too that we all get our children home soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteAmber, I'm really not in the position to tell you which documents you should update. Some documents were ok for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months but I can tell you make sure they are validated by the Consular of Kazakhstan before they get to Kazakhstan. Your agency would be the perfect place to let you know. Good Luck!!
Johnny and Jasmine, Thanks so much for your post!!!!!!

Didn't mean to put you in a bad position, but I've learned that sometimes you can learn more from other PAP's than your agency.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Amber
