Dec/2007- 1st appointment at the agency "Alliance des Familles du Quebec"
Sept/2008- our names finally went on the waiting list for 2009
Jan/2009- handed in our HUGE report to the agency. the report included, police report, digital fingerprints, original birth and marriage certificates, medical reports, employer letters, income taxes, banking information including our net worth statement, interior and exterior pictures of our house, pictures of our friends and family, psychosocial evaluation report, evaluation of our house.
June/2009 - We placed several phone calls to the agency and after a few days they got back to us with some positive news. We then met up with the adoption agency and they told us that we should be leaving in September 2009 but this was not 100% sure. The agency also mentioned if it won't happen in September 2009 we would be leaving for sure before December 2009. She advised us that our file was in the city of Pavlodar.
August/2009 - We had a BIG surprise on August 30th, 2009. Our friends and family organized our "JACK AND JILL" Party!!!! This was an unforgettable event for us that we will treasure forever.
November 15, 2009 - We got a call from our adoption agency and explained to us that there was a possibility of us leaving in 2 weeks considering that we would accept for the agency to transfer our file to a different city (city of Taraz) and we were ready to leave in 2 weeks.
November 19, 2009 - We got the best news of our journey and that was "Book your tickets you're leaving on November 27"
November 23, 2009 - We met with our agency and revised all the documents and a list of items we need to bring to Kazakhstan. We were told that it would be boy under 1yr old.
