Finally Here!!!!!!

It is now Monday night 8:00 pm and we just got settled into our home away from home!! We will be staying in a house and sharing the house with another couple from Montreal whom we've travelled with all week-end long and they are super super nice people!!! There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom and there is a bedroom,bathroom,kitchen,living room downstairs on the main floor and we also have our own security dog outside, LOL!!

I still can't believe we are here, it came Very Very close for us not to leave on Friday!!!! Many days have passed since Friday so we had time to cool down or else this blog would have consisted mainly on swear words!!!!!! It's a good thing Mr. Fil is stubborn and insisted on us leaving early to go to the airport or else we would never have made it with the problem we came across once we checked in........the ticket agent looked at our documents and said I can't fly because my passport expired in 4 months and to go to Kazakhstan you must have a passport that is valid at least for 6 months!!!!! Can you imagine our faces???? So right away Fil ran to a phone called the travel agent and blasted her then called Anna from the adoption agent and she said No No, Fil this is very bad, you have to leave tonight or else the child will no longer be available for you!!! Fil Told her I tried and they know the reason for our trip but the supervisor refuses to let us go because she says they can get fined and someone can lose their job... Fil went back to speak to her 3 TIMES and she did not want to know anything!!! Then Jill and Lui came to join us at the airport and Jill started doing her phone calls, she went to speak to another agent at Air Canada and still no luck!!!! Then Finally Anna from the adoption agent came running through the airport, went straight to an Air Canada agent, she must have been a manager or something and she did not ask any questions she said hurry up and get on the plane it's about to leave.. Then the baggage dept would not come get our bags because they said it's too late, The agent gets on her Walki talki and screams out "IT'S FOR AN ADOPTION, MAKE AN EXCEPTON, THEY'VE BEEN TRYING TO CHECK IN ALL NIGHT!!! At this point I just cracked and broke down in tears, I had a bad feeling all day and I could not beleive what we were going through!!!! So to all you future adopting parents or anyone traveling Make Sure your passport is valid for 6 months, and avoid all this stress!!!

Ok enough with that stress tomorrow is going to be one of the most stressful days of our lives, we are going to the orphanage and meet this baby that we've been waiting for so long!!! So stay tuned for tomorrow's blog!!! bye bye
